My number 1 criteria for the dessert on New Year’s Eve is that it can be made 100% in advance. We usually sit around the table and eat for hours and it’s often close to midnight when we serve the dessert. This also means that at the time, I’ve had a glass or two too much and feel pretty tipsy. For me to prepare a dessert at that stage is not realistic.
I’ve almost decided to go with the raw chocolate tart this year. It was a hard choice. Here are the ones that were among my final competitors.
