Maybe you’re also gifted with a few days every month where you crave sugar and chocolate as if you were paid for it! If not, you’re either male or extremely lucky! The easiest solution is to just go for the chocolate but what if you don’t have any chocolate around the house? In that case, you can give this delicious and refreshing no-milkshake a try. It’s both dairy free and refined sugarfree and it satisfies your sweet tooth and gives you lots of nutrients at the same time.

SERVES 1 PERSON

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (I make my own)
  • 0,5 banana
  • 1 tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanutbutter
  • ice cubes

HERE’S HOW EASY IT IS

Put all ingredients in your blender and blend well. Pour in a glass and serve.

As always, mine is not very sweet, so taste it and add more sweetener if you like.

In case you wish to replace some of the ingredients, I made a few suggestions here:

Almond milk – use 1/2 cup of coconut milk and 1/2 cup water instead

Banana – try using 1/2 tablespoon of Sukrin Gold or Coconut Palm Sugar instead – perhaps together with 0,5 avocado for extra creamy texture.

Raw cacao powder – use regular cocoa powder but slightly less

Peanutbutter – try almond butter instead.
